OFFLINE KNOWLEDGE · ESSENTIALS AND ABOVE
Knowledge that stays.
Read downloaded reference material with Kiwix Desktop on Windows or Kiwix on Mac. ESSENTIALS includes a text-only library of Best of Wikipedia, WikiMed, and Wikivoyage, totaling about 4 GB. INTELLIGENCE includes the same library; COMPLETE adds more reference content.
Extract your library download, install the Kiwix desktop reader, and open a supplied .zim file. No internet connection is needed to read downloaded material.
The packaged browser-based Kiwix JS copy has file-access limitations in default browsers. Use the included Kiwix desktop reader for offline reading. A public hosted reader is not available yet.
Medical and safety references are general information and may be incomplete or outdated. They do not replace professional advice.
